Run out and grab the September Elle Decor for a peek in John Mayer's fantastic apartment furnished with Armani/Casa.
A few years ago, I saw John Mayer performed in Bryant Park. A summer downpour soaked the park, leaving all of us huddling under archways, umbrellas and awnings. John came out, told us he was sorry that we had to stand in the rain and appreciated that we were out to see him. He then poured a bottle of water on himself, saying it was only fair to be one with his audience. What a sweetheart huh?
So when I heard that John had bought a 2,500-square-foot
spread in New York City’s SoHo to be decorated with the assistance of Giorgio Armani and furnished using the ultra luxurious Armani/Casa line, I could not wait to see the result. I cannot tell you how happy I was to see these images sent by the good folks at Armani and Elle Decor. According to John: “After I finally figured out how to behave, and how to dress, I
wanted to get the next thing—my apartment—right...It’s the last piece of
the style puzzle.” And it's a fantastic space, a 2,500 square feet wonder in SoHo. Describing the apartment, John said: “A year ago, it never would have been right
for me. But I’ve changed. I’m confident I’ve earned the happiness a
real home base brings.”
